Like most Ontarians, last year has been a difficult time financially. We were falling behind in making the monthly payments. At one point, we had arrears of almost three months payment and belt examination fee upwards of $150.00 - and it has to be noted that the school that we have been part of for a few years now was understanding and they did not push for any payments. In fact, the owner told us that she can continue to practice and we can pay when we are able to.

Thanks to Sidekick To Success, both the three-month arrears and the belt testing fee were paid off. Thank you again for your ongoing support and for making martial arts accessible to a wide range of families.

I have had the pleasure of setting up my son with Saud and the Side To Success programs twice. Having a space for youth to learn self regulation and discipline through sports and community is the absolute solution that our youth need. As a social worker in high school, I find myself referring boys to his groups or hoping there was more of them for boys of various ages. It is my hope to see these programs grow and be a safe cornerstone for our boys.

Saud Juman's youth programs had a profound impact on my personal and professional development. He exposed me to opportunities to learn about how to goal-set, execute tasks, pivot and stay persistent even in moments of failure, which had a huge impact on my career and volunteer work. It influenced other youth into pursuing the path of hard work and skill development overtaking the "easy way" through shortcuts.

My son has made new friends and has grown in confidence and character. The program provides a positive and supportive environment for youth.
